The classic survival rankings — lost at sea, in the desert, in the Arctic — scored live, plus your own lists. Participants rank individually, then as a team; the platform measures how much better (or worse) the group did than its members.

Ranking games are not about survival of the fittest, but about teams demonstrating collaborative problem solving. Participants are thrown into a situation where their chances depend on ranking salvaged items in order of importance — or on any list you bring.

No subject-matter expertise is needed, only the ability to synergise, cooperate and reach consensus. Because everyone answers individually first and then as a team, the difference between the individual answers and the team's answer becomes a real measure of how well the group performs together. The platform does the arithmetic and shows the synergy score on the leaderboard.

Ranking in play

Three scenarios

  • Lost in the Ocean

A chartered yacht catches fire mid-Atlantic and is sinking. Navigation and radio are gone. Fifteen items were salvaged — rank them to improve your chances until rescue comes.

  • Lost in the Desert

A plane has crash-landed and burnt out. The survivors saved a few items, and a settlement is a few miles away. Rank the items by their importance for survival.

  • Lost in the Arctic

An expedition is caught in a storm; every exit is blocked and nobody knows how long the journey will take. Rank the goods you have by their importance for surviving.
